Hi,
It seems that my words about Covid 19 written yesterday evening are now out of date, and this is the latest news:
All horse racing in Great Britain will be suspended from Wednesday until the end of April because of the coronavirus outbreak.
You can read more here: https://www.britishhorseracing.com/press_releases/26644/
I'm obviously very disappointed, but not too surprised considering the way it's escalated.
I'll be spending the time constructively working on the automated betting and trading strategies with Nigel, getting ready for when racing resumes.
The only thing I can take from this is having the time available for deep data research, to be prepared for when the world returns to normality.
Everyone in all walks of life are affected by this, your work and family life may be affected too.
My entire livelihood is now on pause, but I will be okay with or without loo roll...
When we do return after this enforced break, the services will be better than ever. I'm staying positive, and focused on hitting the ground running once we are back in business.
A note to all members, we will assess extending your subscriptions once we have a restart date, and we know what time period we're covering. Whatever you have paid, you will receive when racing resumes that's a promise.
This is just a brief update from me today, but I'll keep the blog posts going during this break as I work on the services, and will report any news regarding Covid 19 affecting racing.
The most important thing at this moment in time is looking after yourselves, your loved ones, and each other. We will come out the other end of this nightmare together, and stronger than ever.
Ryan
